My Angel was originally released on the album Heart Songs in July 2019.It was written 3 years before that as a commomoration of International Womens Day. Alison always had the intention of re-releasing the song this year in an acoustic format, however due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, it took on a whole new meaning. The lyrics of the song reflect uncertainty and fear in the protagonist, not unlike what we are experiencing now. The piano was written and played by Spanish artist Hernan Romero.
